Snort
v2.9.20Cisco / Snort ProjectRule-driven IDS/IPS. Reads rules from a ruleset, matches them against traffic and raises alerts with SID, classification and priority. The range lets you write and test rules against the scenario's captures, so you can see a badly scoped rule flood, and a good one fire exactly once.
