Accessibility

The whole range is readable, not just the pages around it

Hands-on cyber training usually stops at the remote desktop, because a video stream cannot be read by assistive technology. Forge has no video stream. Every terminal, SIEM console and appliance screen is built from markup, which is why a screen-reader user can complete the same exercise, scored the same way, as everyone else on the team.

Real markup, not a video stream

A remote desktop sends pixels, so a learner's screen reader cannot see inside it. Every Forge screen is a document: headings, tables, labeled controls and live regions that announce what just changed.

Keyboard-only from sign-in to debrief

Windows, terminals, alert queues, packet views and appliance consoles are all reachable and operable without a pointer, with visible focus and roving focus inside grids.

A screen-reader-first layout

Accessible mode replaces the floating desktop with a linear layout, and prefers tables and written descriptions wherever the standard view uses a chart or a map.

Motion, contrast and text size

Animations can be switched off entirely, contrast forced, focus rings always shown, links always underlined, and the whole layout reflows at larger text sizes instead of zooming pixels.

Sound as an option, never a requirement

Non-speech cues for alerts, objectives and teammate actions can be turned on or off; nothing in an exercise is only signaled by sound or only by color.

Six languages with native input

English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Hindi, with native keyboards, and a keystroke that ejects back to English mid-exercise.

Try it on this browser

These are the real settings. They apply everywhere in Forge, right away, and follow you into every lab. Press Alt+A anywhere to open the same panel.

How we check it

Keyboard paths, focus order and announcements are exercised by the automated test suite on every change, so a console that stops being reachable fails the build rather than shipping quietly.

What we do not claim

This is our own verification. An independent WCAG audit and a published accessibility conformance report are not done yet; if your procurement needs one, tell us and we will schedule it rather than send you a document we did not earn.
